About the position
The Georgia Administrative Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Director and provides operational support to the Director and team as needed. This position involves clerical work, record keeping, and scheduling, as well as responsibilities such as coordination of meetings, obtaining supplies, coordinating correspondence, facilitating communication, and working on special projects for the Director or other team members. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Responsibilities
• To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients, and ministry partners.
,
• Actively participates on the team in a manner aligned with scripture, including praying for and with other team members, sharing scripture in daily activities and leadership, and modeling the character of Jesus Christ in interactions with team and external clients, partners, vendors, etc.
,
• Disciples ministry partners and clients.
,
• Aligns team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product of team's work with Biblical principles and with Lifeline's Core Values.
,
• Provides direct support to leadership through a variety of assigned tasks, including organization of weekly calendars, managing correspondence, assisting on projects, filing paperwork, and interacting with clients.
,
• Adapts to changing tasks and priorities.
,
• Maintains, updates, and monitors data in Lifeline's databases.
,
• Assists with tasks and logistics related to state-specific events and initiatives.
,
• Joins the reception team in answering phones, directing callers, greeting clients and visitors, and responding to inquiry emails.
,
• Works with departmental staff to remain informed of any changes in programs and policies.
,
• Creates monthly state newsletter content, if requested.
,
• Plans and coordinates planning for annual events, as needed.
,
• Updates information in SAM and Virtuous databases regularly from databases & offline sources.
,
• Tracks mail and/or emails for the Director and drafts written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary, if requested.
,
• Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
,
• Supports the Director in maintenance of the state finances, as needed, including activities through Webexpenses.
,
• Demonstrates proficiency/ seeks to gain proficiency in systems needed to fulfill the role, including Lifeline databases, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft products, Adobe Sign, Lifeline's Learning Education Portal, Teams, Zoom, Canva, Lifeline's Branding Guidelines, etc.

• Acts as a liaison between other departments to ensure clear internal communication.
,
• Works with Lifeline's IT staff to ensure office equipment is in good working order.
,
• Works with discretion to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
,
• Assists with and attends agency-sponsored events.
,
• Represents the agency in a professional manner in and away from the office.
,
• Maintains good working relationships with co-workers, including resolving all disputes in a Biblically prescribed fashion.
,
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• At least two years of undergraduate education or equivalent experience.

• Must be able to work in person. No opportunity for remote or Telehealth work.
