- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, payroll, and time-off requests.
- Provide administrative support to HR managers and executives as needed.

- Prepare reports related to HR activities and metrics as required.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, or similar).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and HR best practices is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role or administrative position.
- Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.
- Experience with HR software and systems is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- Full-time remote position.
- Standard business hours (9 AM to 5 PM EST) with flexibility depending on the candidates time zone.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required depending on business needs.
