Follow-up on Claims: Contact insurance companies for payment status and handle any discrepancies in billing, including providing necessary documentation.
Resolve Billing Issues: Work with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve any billing issues, including coding errors, missing information, and disputes.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate and organized billing records, including claims, payments, and denials for future reference and audit purposes.
Compliance: Stay up to date on the latest medical billing codes, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations to ensure all practices are compliant.
Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information or documentation for billing purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: A diploma or degree in medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or a related healthcare administrative role is highly desired.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and understanding of healthcare insurance processes.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing codes and patient records.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote working environment and meet deadlines.

Experience:

Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a medical billing or coding role, working with healthcare providers or insurance companies.
Entry-Level Considerations: Freshers with relevant education or certification in medical billing and coding are welcome to apply.

Working Hours:

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST.
