In this role, you will lead the <strong>SPECTRA team</strong>, taking ownership of building and architecting our core web application. If you're passionate about leadership, modern web technologies, and making an impact, we want to hear from you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><span class="ql-cursor"></span>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Lead a cross-functional team</strong> of 4 experienced Full Stack Engineers and 1 QA Engineer.</li><li><strong>Be a hands-on contributor</strong>: Dedicate approximately 50% of your time to active development - designing and implementing features, writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with the team on technical design and architecture decisions.</li><li><strong>Drive the development lifecycle</strong> of complex, high-impact features - collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, make informed tradeoffs, and guide</li><li>&nbsp;decision-making.</li><li><strong>Partner with senior technical leadership</strong>, including staff and principal engineers and AI researchers, on cross-company initiatives.</li><li><strong>Coach and mentor</strong> your team members, inspiring growth through individualized career development plans.</li><li><strong>Own and continuously refine</strong> the team’s quarterly planning process - balancing long-term vision, current backlog, and immediate operational needs.</li><li><strong>Solve technical challenges</strong> alongside your team, addressing both short-term issues and long-term system-level improvements.</li></ul><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><ul><li><strong>Experienced builder</strong>: 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications.</li><li><strong>Proven leader</strong>: 3+ years managing teams of 3 or more engineers, with a strong record of delivering results.</li><li><strong>Product-focused</strong>: Passionate about owning a product’s lifecycle - from vision and requirements to execution and delivery.</li><li><strong>Mentorship-driven</strong>: Committed to guiding and growing engineers, helping them reach their professional goals.</li><li><strong>Tech-savvy</strong>: Proficient with React, Redux and Python. Bonus for experience with:</li></ul><ol><li>Redux / state management</li><li>React-hook-form</li><li>TanStack / React Query</li><li>Tailwind CSS</li><li>UI kits / Design Systems</li><li>AG Grid</li></ol><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Hands-on with infrastructure</strong>: Experience deploying and maintaining systems in on-prem environments.</li><li><strong>AI collaborator</strong>: Comfortable working closely with AI teams and integrating ML-driven features.</li><li><strong>Strong communicator</strong>: Able to communicate ideas clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships across teams.</li><li><strong>Domain-aware</strong>: Familiarity with intelligence, analytics, or related domains is a plus.</li><li><strong>Start-up ready</strong>: Comfortable with ambiguity, fast pace, and shifting priorities.</li></ul><p><strong>Growth-oriented</strong>: Embraces continuous improvement and approaches challenges with a can-do mindset.</p><p><br></p><br>
