Are you an experienced recruiter with a passion for aviation and a talent for connecting people with life-changing career opportunities? Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of professional pilots for a premier global airline? If you are a proactive sourcer, a skilled relationship builder, and can thrive in a remote environment, we have a unique and exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Aviate Sourcing and Pilot Recruiter (Remote). This isn't just about filling positions; it's about building the future of aviation. As a key member of our talent acquisition team, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing a diverse pipeline of aspiring and established pilots for our industry-leading Aviate pilot development program. The Aviate program is a direct and secure path to the flight deck of a major airline, and your role is to find the best and brightest talent to enter this program. You will be the first point of contact for many future pilots, guiding them through the application process and introducing them to the culture and opportunities that await them. This is a remote-first position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the contiguous United States, while occasionally traveling to attend key industry events and build in-person relationships. What You'll Do: Your Mission as a Talent Scout As an Aviate Sourcing and Pilot Recruiter, your primary mission is to attract, engage, and ultimately hire qualified candidates for the Aviate program. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and multifaceted, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing and relationship management. Your duties will include: Strategic Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively source and engage with a diverse pool of potential pilot candidates using various platforms, including online databases, professional networks (like LinkedIn), social media, and industry-specific forums. Relationship Management: Act as a brand ambassador for the Aviate program, building and maintaining strong relationships with flight schools, universities, aviation organizations, and other industry partners to establish a robust talent pipeline. Candidate Screening & Vetting: Thoroughly review resumes, applications, and qualifications to ensure all candidates meet the rigorous standards of the Aviate program. Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate applicants' knowledge, skills, soft skills, and career aspirations. Process Management: Guide candidates through the entire application life cycle, from initial contact to program acceptance. Ensure all candidate data is accurate and up-to-date in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal databases. Event Planning & Participation: Plan and organize virtual and in-person recruiting events, such as career fairs, conferences, and information sessions. While the role is remote, some travel will be required to attend these key events. Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor recruiting strategies, and market conditions to develop and refine effective sourcing and hiring plans. Collaboration: Work closely with the mainline pilot hiring team and Aviate program managers to align on hiring needs, ensure a seamless candidate experience, and provide feedback on the sourcing process. What You'll Bring: Your Essential Skills & Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need a blend of recruiting expertise, aviation enthusiasm, and a strong set of soft skills. Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of proven recruiting or talent acquisition experience in a high-volume environment. Experience in the aviation industry is a significant plus. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable. You must be able to communicate complex program details clearly and professionally, both one-on-one and to a large audience. Technical Acumen: Proficiency with modern recruiting tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM systems, and social media platforms for sourcing and engagement. Organizational Prowess: Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for managing a large talent pipeline. Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work setting, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Aviation, or a related field is preferred. This is a chance to be at the forefront of pilot recruitment, building a career with a company that is committed to your success. If you are ready to make a significant impact on the future of aviation, we encourage you to apply.
