The hiring range for this role is:
73,592.88 - 103,209.52

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range depends on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel, and organizational needs. This role is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.

This role involves analyzing and designing solutions to meet business needs, partnering with customers to understand requirements, and creating functional and non-functional specifications. As an application and data SME, you will advise and influence both business and technical partners throughout the product lifecycle, from development to post-implementation operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring thorough, detailed, and concise business requirements, documenting exceptions for management approval (20%).
  • Creating, reviewing, and obtaining sign-off on Systems Analyst artifacts per project management guidelines (20%).
  • Providing application support, serving as SME, and ensuring product changes align with design and best practices (20%).
  • Delivering weekly status updates, investigating customer issues, and escalating risks as needed (15%).
  • Fostering positive relationships, collaborating with customers, and contributing to process improvements (15%).
  • Providing detailed estimates for Systems Analyst activities (10%).

Job Overview:

Qualifications:
  • Education: Preferred Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years in IT, focused on systems development and programming.
  • Skills: Advanced analytical skills, effective communication, adaptability to new technology, and cross-functional project experience.

Additional Posting Info:
Minimum four years of IT experience in systems development; up to one year experience with BCBS or health insurance industry.
