Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of data engineers focused on large-scale data pipeline development and optimization.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data strategy, governance practices, and KPIs.
- Manage resource allocation, sprint planning, and cross-functional project deliverables.
- Oversee the deployment of scalable data solutions, while ensuring compliance with security and privacy regulations.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies to support enterprise data initiatives.
- Remove technical blockers and support team growth through strategic feedback and coaching.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; technical depth not required but helpful.
- Proven success in managing remote technical teams.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
