Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Automate the integration of code into shared repositories and ensure frequent code releases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance build and deployment tools.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of automated build and deployment processes.
  • Manage and maintain source code versioning, building, and testing processes.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of CI/CD systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Work closely with software engineers to identify and address continuous integration challenges.
  • Implement best practices in DevOps processes to promote collaboration and innovation.
  • Regularly evaluate and suggest improvements to DevOps tools and techniques.
  • Document CI/CD workflows, systems, and processes for transparency and future scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Solid understanding of application performance monitoring and logging.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role focused on continuous integration.
  • Demonstrable experience in automating and streamlining build and deployment processes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Exposure to Agile software development practices and tools.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM ´┐¢ 6:00 PM (flexible working hours available based on team requirements).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in the configuration and maintenance of CI/CD tools and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices and their integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures, deployment problems, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and ensuring automated tests are integrated into the CI pipeline.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
