Here, you are more than just a cog in the machine – you are a valued member of our team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WE OFFER</strong></p><ul><li>A competitive compensation package.</li><li>Benefits include healthcare, vision and dental insurance, a generous 401k match, paid vacation, personal time, and holidays.</li><li>Growth and training opportunities.</li><li>A team atmosphere with fun events and prizes scheduled throughout the year.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>Staff level position responsible for the daily accounting department activities</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;To provide support for timely completion of daily accounting department activities</li><li>To provide support clients, reviewers and vendors with financial matters</li><li>To support co-workers with billing/payment procedures and resolve invoice adjustments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Major Responsibilities or Assigned Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Reconcile accounts receivable including processing daily check and ACH deposits</li><li>Closely monitor outstanding receivables and provide timely and consistent communication to clients regarding collections and payment plans as needed </li><li>Audit client billings following contract agreements. This includes creating client specific billing audit templates </li><li>Prepare and distribute accurate client invoices, statements, spreadsheets, and custom reports. </li><li>Provide high level detail spreadsheets to support itemized charges. This includes understanding excel formulas </li><li>Update client billing rules and rate fields for annual and/or contracted price increases following client specific percentage increases </li><li>Provide assistance to clients, vendors and physicians concerning financial issues </li><li>Implement new clients (invoice options and preferences, processes, distribution, and ensure payment information and payment forms are provided) </li><li>Build client billing rules in billing system following client specific billing agreement and terms. </li><li>Import high-volume cases using the Bacen import process. This includes collecting and auditing client system reports and exporting and auditing SimpliTrack case data </li><li>Create client codes, vendors, and reviewers in Sage Accounting program ensuring contract terms, distribution emails, and all information is current and accurate. </li><li>Resolve returned checks </li><li>Securely distribute reviewer 1099's as requested </li><li>Collect employee receipts and allocate Divy card charges </li><li>Process check runs timely • Audit reviewer payables per product pay and per reviewer pay exceptions or contracts </li><li>Ensure vendor invoices have been appropriately approved and enter invoices accurately for timely vendor payments </li><li>Build reviewer pay agreements in billing system per product type and/or client code(s) exceptions&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with other departments to improve processes or resolve inconsistencies/issues (Sales, Customer Success, all of Operations, Development, Business Intelligence, etc) </li><li>Communicate with Billing and AR Analyst, Director of Accounting, Director of Financial Planning Analysis, and Chief Financial Officer as appropriate in a timely manner regarding issues or unusual circumstances. </li><li>Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to the CEO and Accountant as requested </li><li>Prepare, distribute and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requested </li><li>Participate in the Complaint process </li><li>Support Quality Management initiatives as applicable </li><li>Support all Compliance Program activities </li><li>Maintain a flexible schedule as needed to meet business needs </li><li>Participate in all company meetings and committees as requested </li><li>Complete other duties and responsibilities as directed&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p class="ql-align-center"><em><u>California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Information (California Residents Only):</u></em></p><ul><li><u>Sensitive Personal Info</u>: MRIoA may collect sensitive personal info such as real name, nickname or alias, postal address, telephone number, email address, Social Security number, signature, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, driver’s license number, or state identification card number, and passport number.</li><li><u>Data Access and Correction:</u>&nbsp;Applicants can access their data and request corrections. For questions and/or requests to edit, delete, or correct data, please email the Medical Review Institute at HR@mrioa.com.&nbsp;</li></ul><br> <b>Requirements</b><br><p><strong>Skills and Experience:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Minimum one year’s experience in similar operations preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple high priorities and maintain a flexible schedule</li><li>Personal computer literacy and high competency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and ten key</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to details</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Well-developed customer service and training skills</li><li>Thorough understanding and knowledge of Company's clients, products, departments and workflows, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education: </strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma</li><li>Preference for Bachelor's degree preferably in business&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Ability to sit at a desk,&nbsp;utilize a computer, telephone, and other basic office equipment is required.
