Key Responsibilities:

Conduct remote patient assessments via phone or video calls, ensuring that accurate health data is collected.

Document patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans accurately and confidentially in the electronic health record system.

Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary recommendations for further care or referrals.
Ensure all telehealth practices comply with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Canada.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Experience in telehealth nursing or telemedicine is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain medical concepts in simple terms.
Comfortable using technology for virtual consultations and electronic health record documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload efficiently.
Empathetic and patient-focused approach to care, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality service.
Knowledge of Canadian healthcare regulations, including privacy laws (HIPAA, PIPEDA).
BLS/CPR certification is required.

Experience:

At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with a preference for those with telehealth or telephone triage experience.
Experience in managing a caseload and providing remote patient support.
Knowledge of telemedicine platforms or telehealth tools is advantageous but can be taught on the job.

Working Hours:

Full-time and part-time positions available.
Shifts may include evenings and weekends, depending on patient needs and scheduling.
Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones within Canada.
