Project Manager- Mechanical Construction
This role is based out of North Carolina but consist of heavy travel
We are seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects across various locations. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing systems who thrives in a dynamic, travel-based role.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, budgeting, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end execution of mechanical projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Supervise field teams and subcontractors across multiple job sites.
• Coordinate material procurement, equipment logistics, and subcontractor scheduling.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and maintain regular site visits throughout project lifecycle.
• Monitor quality standards, safety compliance, and project progress.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist in project closeout and punch list completion.
Qualifications:
• 5 years or more of project management experience in commercial or industrial mechanical construction
• Ability to lead field operations and manage multiple, geographically dispersed projects.
• Experience & knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, mechanical systems and installation processes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.
• Willingness & ability to travel up to 75% of the time across various U.S. locations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
