Immediate Start
In the U.S., 60% of adults – more than 133 million people – live with at least one chronic condition. These patients need frequent, proactive support to stay healthy, yet our care system isn't built for that level of attention. With rising clinician shortages, strained infrastructure, and reactive care models, patients too often end up in the ER or the hospital when those outcomes could have been prevented.
At Cadence, we're building a better system. Our mission is to deliver proactive care to one million seniors by 2030. Our technology and clinical care team extend the reach of primary care providers and support patients every day at home. In partnership with leading health systems, Cadence consistently monitors tens of thousands of patients to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and help patients live longer, healthier lives.
The Cadence Health team is seeking a Clinical Navigation Trainer to join our Care Delivery team. This role is dedicated to developing, implementing, and evolving high-quality onboarding and ongoing education programs for our Clinical Navigator team, which includes Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Health Coaches. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, clinical excellence, and improving patient care through structured training and support resources.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding curriculum for newly hired Clinical Navigators (LPNs, MAs, Health Coaches), including live sessions, self-paced modules, assessments, and documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and subject matter experts to develop ongoing training for current team members.
• Continuously evaluate and revise training materials and curricula based on learner feedback, performance outcomes, compliance updates, and evolving clinical workflows.
• Support the creation, documentation, and ongoing refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), care pathways, and workflow guides for the Clinical Navigator team.
• Lead the facilitation of virtual training sessions, skills refreshers, and continuing education initiatives.
• Develop training assessments and post-training evaluations to ensure comprehension and effectiveness.
• Serve as a partner to Clinical Navigator supervisors, aligning L&D efforts with team OKRs, quality improvement initiatives, and performance trends.
• Stay current with industry best practices in adult learning and clinical training, applying innovations to enhance training impact.
• Maintain a structured library of educational content, SOPs, and supporting materials for easy access and version control.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Product, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure training content reflects the latest tools, policies, and workflows.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• 5+ years of experience designing and facilitating clinical or healthcare education programs.
• Understanding of the clinical operational workflows.
• Experience developing SOPs and training materials in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to translate complex clinical information into clear and accessible training.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools and remote training delivery methods.
• Excellent project management and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and levels of the organization.
• Experience in a digital health or startup environment is preferred.
