About the position
The U.S. Employer Portfolio Strategic Planning Lead at Cigna Healthcare is responsible for supporting leadership in the planning and organization of business strategy, priorities, and goals. This role involves engaging with multiple stakeholders to deliver strategic cross-functional initiatives, ensuring project feasibility, impact assessments, and alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will manage business processes while influencing strategic intent, focusing on change management to enhance stakeholder adoption and value realization.
Responsibilities
• Serve as a critical business partner and advisor to Senior Leadership teams for U.S. Employer initiatives.

• Support resource planning and execution readiness after portfolio decisions are made.

• Act as a connector to ensure business initiatives are prioritized and escalated appropriately.

• Drive execution of annual portfolio strategic kickoff and roadmap activities.
,
• Support the development of portfolio business strategy, priorities, and goals.
,
• Perform post-mortems relative to U.S. Employer Portfolio Strategy and Intake outcomes.
,
• Coordinate and curate the portfolio management process, ensuring ongoing implementation and adherence.
,
• Participate in team meetings and governance in partnership with the leadership team.
,
• Continuously improve management practices for communication and collaboration.
,
• Own leadership and cross-functional forums, including agenda setting and action item resolution.
,
• Assist in content creation for key communication materials related to portfolio status.
,
• Assess impacts for high priority requests with business and technology impacts.
,
• Design and implement change management strategies and plans.
,
• Supervise execution of activities related to organizational change management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience required.
,
• Prior experience leading management processes for a business unit preferred.
,
• SAFe Agile Methodology certification and/or PMP Project Management Certification preferred.
,
• Strong Change Management discipline and components of Change Management.
,
• Experience in health care required.
,
• Expertise in the Cigna organization, business processes, and workflows preferred.
,
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing team-based environment.
,
• Experience driving results-oriented work with demonstrated project management skills.
,
• Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
,
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
